inkyubus: Before I found this tumblr, I'd always just pictured Magnus as a half-Asian guy, but when I saw your manips with Yunho, something just clicked! So now whenever I read the books, Yunho's face is in my head, and that's a wonderful thing to be thinking of. XDThat is also a very, very wonderful thing to hear! I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone else use him in their casting so it’s nice to know I’ve converted someone ;))

“There is nothing weak about Alec,” said Isabelle.
“No,” said Magnus. “To love as you choose, that takes strength. The thing is, I wanted you here for him. There are things I can’t do for him, can’t give him …” For a moment Magnus looked oddly vulnerable. “You have known Jace as long as he has. You can give him understanding I can’t. And he loves you.”

As I said yesterday — thanks to all of you who voted for Jace in the YA Tourney so MUCH. He won, and it’s all down to you.
So here’s the bonus part of the reward teasers: A scene from CoLS about Magnus and Alec. I get asked constantly if they will be in it and I hope this is somewhat reassuring that yes, indeed, they will be, with their very own plotline and all that. It’s a short scene because it’s smack in the middle of a giant spoiler. In fact I had to take out everything that even indicated where they were. Somewhere dark …but light can come from the strangest of sources.
